  • Moonstone and Kyanite Sterling Silver Earrings

Gorgeous 4mm x 4mm round & 5mm x 7mm oval rare blue Kyanite gemstones, complimented by wonderful 5mm x 5mm round & 10mm x 5mm marquise white Moonstone semi-precious gemstones that shine blue depending on the light. these gemstone are hand set in sterling silver in a bezel setting!

Lake Padarn a magnificent glacially formed lake nestled amidst some of Snowdonia’s most spectacular scenery is at the heart of an 800 acre park providing delightful trails and walks and a brilliant inspiration for my jewellery designs.

Kyanite arises from the Greek kyanos, meaning ‘deep blue’ – a uniquely beautiful gemstone, it is – according to some – characterised by a highly positive energy which aids in healing and communicating one’s true feelings. Others also suggest that it bridges the gap between the heart and the mind.

One of June’s many birthstones, moonstone gets its name from the gorgeously unique appearance of its surface, the mesmerising light of which resembles that of the moon. The moon’s close associations with love, so famously explored by romantic poets such as Shelley, have led moonstone to likewise become a lover’s stone. Beyond this, the moon’s cyclical renewal has left moonstone with similar symbolism of renewal and rejuvenation.

These unique earrings are 47mm long (~1 3/4Inch) and come in a gift box with the image of their inspiration in the lid of the box and beautifully presented making them a unique gift.
