Ethiopian Opal Earrings, Black Spinels, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Drop Earrings

Four gorgeous earth-mined 5mm x 5m round-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious faceted colourful gemstones, complimented by several beautiful 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Black Spinels natural semi-precious faceted gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the phenomenal Swallow Falls in the Snowdonia National Park. One of the tallest waterfalls in Wales, this landmark brims with churning cascades in a picturesque, wooded setting, accessible by a narrow, rocky footpath.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.
40mm long (~1 1/2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
