Inspired by Waterfalls

Opal Tanzanite Necklace, Ethiopian Opal, Natural Tanzanite, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Pendant

Two gorgeous natural 3mm x 3mm round-shaped rare blue Tanzanite semi-precious gemstones, complimented by two wonderfully crafted earth-mined 3mm x 5mm oval-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious cabochon colourful gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the dramatic Dyserth Falls, where water cascades of up to 70ft are visible from a trail weaving over and behind this waterfall, offering hikers a chance to appreciate its magnificence from all angles.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.

Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome.
