Inspired by Waterfalls

Opal Gemstone Necklace, Cubic Zirconia, Ethiopian Opal, Paraiba Blue Opal, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver

Gorgeous earth-mined 6mm x 4mm inverted pear drop-shaped Ethiopian opal semi-precious gemstone, complimented by delightfully crafted 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped Paraiba Blue Opal & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconias. These gemstones are handset ins sterling silver in a prong setting & a cluster setting respectively!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Fairy Glen Gorge near Betws-y-Coed, where crystal-clear water dances across black and mossy rock, foaming white rapids periodically punctuating the peaceful woodland landscape.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
