Inspired by Valleys

Orange Opal Necklace, Fanta Orange Ethiopian Opal, Cubic Zirconia, Semi Precious Gemstones, Sterling Silver, Pendant

Serene natural 8mm x 6mm oval-shaped fanta orange Ethiopian Opal faceted gemstone, complemented by stunning faceted cut sparkling 3mm x 3mm round-shaped & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia (lab) gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a cluster setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of a mesmerising sunrise over the Clwyd Valley, the golden hues of which bathe the gorgeous land below in luxurious yellow light.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
