Opal Apatite Necklace-Pendant, Neon Blue Apatite, Ethiopian Opal, Cubic Zirconia, Semi Precious, Handmade Jewellery, Sterling Silver

Gorgeous earth-mined 10mm x 5mm marquise-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious faceted gemstone, complimented by wonderful 5mm x 4mm oval-shaped neon blue Apatite & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconias. These gemstones are Hanset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Bryneglwys, a rural village in North Wales. Here, lush green fields and emerald treelines paint a captivating picture of the country’s rustic charm. In spring, daffodils and dandelions coalesce to transform these romantic pastures into seas of gold and yellow.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
Apatite, an arresting gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad array of hues, is named after the Greek apate (‘deceit’) as its varied colours have fooled many into mistaking it for other minerals.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
