Tanzanite Topaz Stud-Drops, Mercury Mist Topaz, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Stud Drop Earrings

Gorgeous faceted cut 6mm x 6mm heart-shaped Mercury Mist Topaz semi-precious gemstones, complemented by six 4mm x 2mm marquise-shaped natural blue Tanzanite rare semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Lake Vyrnwy in Powys, Wales. Nestled in the Berwyn Mountains, this gorgeously dramatic lake and its staggering surroundings see the juxtaposition of brilliant blue water with the deep green of the enveloping woodland.
One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
24mm long (~3/4 inch), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
