Inspired by Valleys

Opal Tanzanite Drop-Earrings, Ethiopian Opal, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver

£99.95

Two magnificent earth-mined 3mm x 5mm oval-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious gemstones, complemented by three beautiful natural 3mm x 3mm round-shaped blue Tanzanite rare semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the Clwyd Valley which, with its rolling green hills and naturally verdant woodland, perfectly encapsulates the untouched pastoral beauty for which North Wales is famous.

As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.

A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.

48mm long (~1 3/4 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
