Garnet Apatite Earrings, Rhodolite Pink Garnet, Semi Precious Gemstones, Handmade Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Drop Earrings

Eight magnificent 3mm x 3mm round-shaped & eight 4mm x 4mm round-shaped Rhodolite Pink Garnet semi-precious faceted gemstones, complemented by eight lovely faceted cut sparkling 2mm x mm round-shaped neon blue Apatite semi-precious natural gemstones. These lovely gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the exotic blooms of Bali, an Indonesian island often called the ‘Isle of the Gods’. The flowers of this tropical paradise are as vibrant as the culture which blossoms there, their arrestingly flamboyant hues catching the eye and impressing the memory.
One of the birthstones for January, garnet – historically tied to friendship and faithfulness – has long been used for decoration, having been found amongst the relics of ancient Greece and Egypt.
Apatite, an arresting gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad array of hues, is named after the Greek apate (‘deceit’) as its varied colours have fooled many into mistaking it for other minerals.
48mm long (~1 3/4 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
