£79.95

Lovely natural 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped Aquamarine semi-precious faceted gemstones, complimented by gorgeous 7mm x 5mm inverted pear drop purple Amethyst semi-precious & several beautiful 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconias. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the flowers of the idyllic offshore paradises of St Kitts and Nevis, Caribbean islands where stunning purple flowers offer a gorgeous complement to the sensational blues of the tropical waters which break against the islands’ pristine shores.

A February birthstone, amethyst has traditionally symbolised sobriety – its name derives from the Greek ametusthos, “not intoxicated”. More recently, it has also been tied to deep emotional bonds.

A March birthstone, aquamarine is named after the serene ocean waters with which it shares its captivating hues. Due to this maritime association, some sailors wear it to bring good fortune.

A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.

These handmade gemstone earrings are 22mm long (~1/2 Inch) and come in a unique gift box with the image of their inspiration inside the lid of the box and in an organza gift bag, beautifully presented.
