Opal Garnet Necklace, Ethiopian Opal, Rhodolite Garnet, Semi Precious Gemstones, Sterling Silver

Colourful 7mm x 7mm round-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious faceted gemstone, complemented by two gorgeous faceted cut sparkling 3mm x 3mm round-shaped pink Rhodolite Garnet semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This jewellery is inspired by my photography of the gorgeous tropical red flowers in the rainforest and volcanic rock of Arenal National Park, a Prominent active volcano featuring hiking trails in the rainforest, lava fields & hot springs, located in Costa Rica!
One of the birthstones for January, garnet – historically tied to friendship and faithfulness – has long been used for decoration, having been found amongst the relics of ancient Greece and Egypt.
As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome
