Tanzanite Onyx Earrings, Black Onyx, Black Spinel, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Drop Earrings

Incredible crafted 16mm x 10mm irregular-shaped Black Onyx gemstones, complimented by lovely natural 6mm x 4mm oval-shaped rare blue Tanzanites & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped black Spinel gemstones. These natural semi-precious gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Menorca, a Spanish island situated in the Mediterranean Sea. It bears an undeniable beauty owed in large part to its rich collage of vast, sandy beaches, shimmering turquoise waters, and deep green stretches of coastal pine.
A birthstone for February, onyx has been historically important to myth and religion, being both the first stone mentioned in the Bible and, in Roman myth, goddess Venus’s clipped, crystallised nails.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
45mm long (~1 3/4 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
