Tanzanite Amethyst Pendant, Natural Tanzanite, Green Amethyst, Sterling Silver
Gorgeous faceted cut sparkling 11mm x 9mm oval-shaped Green Amethyst semi-precious gemstone, complemented by lovely natural 4mm x 4mm round-shaped rare blue Tanzanite semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Diablo Valley, an impressive swathe of untouched woodland and rolling hills where viridescent forests and sun-kissed fields stretch out against a backdrop of distant, dramatic mountains.
A February birthstone, amethyst has traditionally symbolised sobriety – its name derives from the Greek ametusthos, “not intoxicated”. More recently, it has also been tied to deep emotional bonds.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
