Citrine & Cubic Zirconia Sterling Silver Stud Drop Gemstone Earrings
A remarkable pair of gemstone earrings featuring stunningly sparkling 8mm x 4mm faceted marquises of semi-precious citrine, delicately complemented by several sensational 1mm x 1mm rounds of lab-grown cubic zirconia. Each of these gemstones is delicately hand-set in a stylish sterling silver claw setting.
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of some of the USA’s jaw-dropping arches, a common sight in the western state of Utah. These otherworldly rock formations, products of the natural forces of water and gravity, lend this sunburnt orange landscape an astonishingly unique appeal.
A November birthstone, citrine is characterised by its rich hues of yellow and gold, inspiring symbolic ties with both wealth and the sun, said to inspire, energise, and bring prosperity.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
38mm long (~1½ inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
