This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of some of the USA’s incredible canyonlands, rugged landscapes of sun-drenched umber rock split by yawning chasms and narrow, winding channels. Their uniquely captivating beauty – straight from the backdrops of classic Westerns – offers the perfect artistic inspiration.
A November birthstone, citrine is characterised by its rich hues of yellow and gold, inspiring symbolic ties with both wealth and the sun, said to inspire, energise, and bring prosperity.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extra-terrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
