£69.95

Breathtaking earth-mined 8mm x 4mm marquise-shaped Ethiopian Opal faceted semi-precious gemstones, complimented by wonderful 3mm x 3mm round pink Tourmaline, 2mm x 2mm round, two 4mm x 3mm oval green Tourmaline & 4mm x 3mm oval-shaped Champagne Tourmaline semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the ancient landscape of the Clwyd Valley, enshrined in a wispy veil of fog which evokes a sense of magic and mystery.

As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.

An October birthstone, tourmaline was reported by one 18th-century Dutch scientist to induce sleep, whilst ancient traditions from Africa and India believe it to strengthen moral judgement.

42mm long (~1 1/2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
