Opal Apatite Earrings, Ethiopian Opal, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Drop Earrings

£89.95

Three breath taking 2mm x 2mm round-shaped Apatite semi-precious gemstones, complimented by four wonderful earth-mined 3mm x 3mm round & four 4mm x 4mm round-shaped Ethiopian Opal semi-precious gemstones. These natural gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Morfydd, where the subdued shades of purple heather provide a gorgeous contrast to the vibrant green hills and deep blue sky.

As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.

Apatite, an arresting gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad array of hues, is named after the Greek apate (‘deceit’) as its varied colours have fooled many into mistaking it for other minerals.

50mm long (~2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
