Emerald Lever-Back Earrings, Natural Emerald, Cubic Zirconia, Precious Gemstones, Sterling Silver

£165.00

Three magnificent natural 5mm x 4mm oval-shaped, five 4mm x 3mm oval-shaped, three 2mm x 2mm round-shaped green Emerald precious gemstones with lots of character, complimented by several beautiful faceted cut sparkling 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia (lab) gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectfully!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Morfydd, where the subdued shades of purple heather provide a gorgeous contrast to the vibrant green hills and deep blue sky.

A May birthstone, emerald has been called the ‘Jewel of Kings’ due to its ties to historical royalty; it was popularised by the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra, and has remained in fashion since.

A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.

42mm long (~1 1/2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
