Emerald Tanzanite Pendant, Natural Precious Gemstones, Sterling Silver
Ten gorgeous natural faceted cut 5mm x 3mm pear drop-shaped blue Tanzanite semi-precious gemstones, complemented by eight serene natural 2mm x 2mm round-shaped green Emerald precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Morfydd, where the subdued shades of purple heather provide a gorgeous contrast to the vibrant green hills and deep blue sky.
A May birthstone, emerald has been called the ‘Jewel of Kings’ due to its ties to historical royalty; it was popularised by the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra, and has remained in fashion since.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
