Inspired by Moorlands

£135.00

Gorgeous natural faceted cut 3mm x 3mm trillion-shaped blue Tanzanite semi-precious gemstones, complimented by serene natural 5mm x 3mm oval, two 2mm x 2mm round, 3mm x 3mm round & three 4mm x 3mm oval-shaped green Emerald precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Fachan, where the lively tones of the sloping green fields below begin to give way to the subdued reds and yellows of the higher moorland.

A May birthstone, emerald has been called the ‘Jewel of Kings’ due to its ties to historical royalty; it was popularised by the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra, and has remained in fashion since.

A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.

Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.

Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome.
