Inspired by Moorlands

Opal Cacoxenite Necklace, Fanta Orange Opal, Puprle Cacoxenite, Sterling Silver, Necklace

£64.95

Distinctly colourful 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped Fanta Orange Opal semi-precious natural gemstone, complemented by unusual faceted cut sparkling 9mm x 6mm oval-shaped purple Cacoxenite gemstone. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Famau, where blooms of beautifully pink and purple heather act as a rich and vibrant highlight amongst the subdued moorland hues en-route to an ancient local landmark.

As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.

Cocoxenite or Super 7 is a variation of Amethyst that combines other minerals such as various quartz. This crystalline structure with its silky cluster is said to enhance intuitiveness and promote positivity.

Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.

Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome.
