Topaz Tourmaline Pendant, Cubic Zirconia, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstones Jewellery,, Sterling Silver

Wonderfully crafted 6mm x 4mm inverted pear drop-shaped pink Tourmaline semi-precious gemstones, complimented by gorgeous faceted cut 8mm x 8mm heart-shaped blue Topaz & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconias These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the historic Llyn Celyn, where serene, mid-blue waters and vibrant pink flowers speak little of the reservoir’s turbulent past, in which its creation involved the submersion of the village of Tryweryn, still partly visible today during rare droughts.
A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
An October birthstone, tourmaline was reported by one 18th-century Dutch scientist to induce sleep, whilst ancient traditions from Africa and India believe it to strengthen moral judgement.
One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.
Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
