Orange-Opal Celtic Earrings, Celtic Design, Cubic Zirconia, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Drop Earrings

£64.95

Beautiful natural 3mm x 3mm round-shaped Orange Ethiopian Opal semi-precious cabochon colourful gemstones, complimented by several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconias. These gemstones are handset in a beautiful sterling silver Celtic design with gold plated accents in a prong setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Valle Crucis Abbey, a ruined 13th-century site of worship situated near Llangollen in Denbighshire. Boasting an elaborate doorway, intricately-carved windows, and several acres of surrounding grassland which now operate as a stunning caravan park, Valle Crucis Abbey offers a unique and engaging slice of Welsh history and architecture.

A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.

As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.

38mm long (~1 1/2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.
