Topaz Opal Necklace, Chalama Black Opal, Mercury Mist Topaz, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver

£79.95

Unusually colourful faceted cut 9mm x 7mm pear drop-shaped Mercury Mist Topaz semi-precious gemstone, complemented by wonderfully crafted 6mm x 4mm oval-shaped Chalama Black Opal cabochon gemstone. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & bezel setting respectfully!

This gorgeous jewellery is inspired by Valle Crucis Abbey at Llangollen with its amazing ruins, especially the stonework that remains as part of the landscape.

An October birthstone, opal was once dubbed the ‘Patron of Thieves’, believed to render its wearer invisible. Now, though, the opal is more commonly seen as a stone of love and protection.

One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.

This handmade necklace comes on a sterling silver chain, in a unique gift box with the image of their inspiration inside the lid of the box and in an organza gift bag, beautifully presented.
