Green Tourmaline Necklace, Cubic Zirconia, Semi Precious, Handmade Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver Pendant

£49.95

Wonderfully crafted 6mm x 4mm oval-shaped green Tourmaline semi-precious faceted gemstone, complimented by several lovely 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectively!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Dolbadarn Castle. Constructed during the reign of mighty medieval king Llywelyn the Great, its time-worn walls enclose a circular inner tower which stands, a lonely sentinel, over the enchanting, storied landscape of Snowdonia.

A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.

An October birthstone, tourmaline was reported by one 18th-century Dutch scientist to induce sleep, whilst ancient traditions from Africa and India believe it to strengthen moral judgement.

Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.
