Inspired by the Tuscan Hills

Rare Tanzanite, Sterling Silver, Rose Gold Accent, Necklace

Four rich blue 3mm x 4mm gemstones of rare natural tanzanite – elegantly hand-set in stylish sterling silver with captivating rose gold accents – make up this beautiful necklace.

A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the marvellous San Quirico d’Orcia, a medieval town nestled amongst the emerald landscape of Tuscany’s most scenic valley. The terracotta-tiled roofs and charming white walls of this picturesque town sit beneath fabulously clear skies, encircled by hilltop woodland above the verdant, hedge-seamed grassland of the Val d’Orcia.

Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.

Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome.
