Topaz Tanzanite Earrings, Semi Precious Gemstone Jewellery, Sterling Silver, Earrings

Amazing faceted cut sparkling 8mm x 8mm heart-shaped Blue Topaz semi-precious gemstones, complimented by gorgeous 2mm x 2mm round-shaped & three 4mm x 3mm pear drop-shaped natural blue Tanzanite semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia, North Wales’s untamed, mountainous heartland, where blooms of heather, the dark silhouettes of stone monoliths, the cool waters of vast, still pools, and the ever-changing colours of a capricious sky fill the landscape with soothing tones of blue and purple.
One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.
A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.
These handmade gemstone earrings are 48mm long (~1 3/4 Inches) and come in a unique gift box with the image of their inspiration inside the lid of the box and in an organza gift bag, beautifully presented.
Thanks for looking. Commissions welcome.
