This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia’s staggering Lake Cowlyd. Set amongst the Carneddau range of mountains, these deep and enchanting waters are accessible only via a challenging uphill path which demands determination in those that follow it. The required effort pays off, however, revealing a decidedly dramatic, desolate landscape bare of trees and rich in rough-hewn rock.

Bordering the more famous Yellowstone, this lesser-known reserve boasts what is, in my opinion, one of the most gorgeously dramatic, snow-capped landscapes ever seen.
