Green Amethyst, Tourmaline, Topaz, Gemstone, Sterling Silver Earrings

These stunning earrings showcase 12mm x 8mm faceted gemstones of natural green amethyst alongside 3mm x 3mm green tourmaline and 6mm x 6mm faceted bi-colour topaz which glimmer in hues of terracotta and rose. Each of these magnificent gemstones is elegantly hand-set in stylish sterling silver with captivating rose gold accents.

A February birthstone, amethyst has traditionally symbolised sobriety – its name derives from the Greek ametusthos, “not intoxicated”. More recently, it has also been tied to deep emotional bonds.

An October birthstone, tourmaline was reported by one 18th-century Dutch scientist to induce sleep, whilst ancient traditions from Africa and India believe it to strengthen moral judgement.

One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Monticchiello, an ancient village in the Tuscan heartland of the Val d’Orcia. Here, the sun-kissed remains of historic forts watch over quaint Renaissance streets and squares amidst a picturesque landscape of verdant grassland dotted with deep green cypress.

45mm long (~1 3/4 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Bagno Vignoni – ‘the Bath in the Vineyards’ – a quaint Italian village set amongst the gentle hills of Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia.

This medieval settlement is centred around the hot spring baths which give it its name, crystal-clear sapphire waters walled with pale stone.

One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.

A May birthstone, emerald has been called the ‘Jewel of Kings’ due to its ties to historical royalty; it was popularised by the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra, and has remained in fashion since.

Both the baths and the picturesque properties which surround them can be dated back to the medieval era, and though the central pool is no longer open to the public for bathing, the nearby hot springs at the Parco dei Mulini offer a similar experience.

42mm long (~1 1/2 inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.

Two beautifully faceted cut sparkling 4mm x 4mm round Swiss Blue Topaz semi-precious gemstones. These gemstones are hand set in a lovely sterling silver Celtic Heart design with Rose Gold accents in a claw setting!

The deep and bleak lake, lake Aled Isaf is a beautiful natural lake high on the Hirethog moors. A windswept and mesmerising landscape of ancient occupation and amazing hikes on a summers day.

One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Because of this, it is often viewed as a sacred stone.

Tanzanite, Moonstone, Gemstone, Sterling Silver Earrings, Rose Gold Accent

Two beautifully blue 5mm x 5mm rounds of rare natural tanzanite and one 9mm x 9mm faceted round of serene rainbow moonstone populate these fabulous earrings, upon which they are elegantly hand-set in stylish sterling silver with captivating rose gold accents.

A December birthstone, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, borrowing its name from its origin country. It is often worn by Tanzanian mothers to grant their new-borns happy lives.

One of June’s many birthstones, moonstone bears the symbolic associations of its celestial namesake, namely love and renewal, famously explored by romantic poets such as Shelley.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Assisi, an Italian city and marvel of architectural design which sits in the Umbrian province of Perugia. Here, enveloping walls of pure white stone enclose the quintessential Italian cityscape; charming streets wind up and down steep hillside slopes, colourful flowers adorn the windowsills of picturesque terraces, and tourists gather in awe at the Tempio di Minerva, an ancient Roman site of worship dating back to the first century BCE.
