    Gorgeous 8mm x 6mm oval & 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped blue Iolite ‘Water Sapphire’ gemstones, complimented by wonderfully crafted 8mm x 6mm pear drop-shaped Paraiba Neon Blue Ethiopian Opal semi-precious gemstone. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
     
    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Nevis, a breathtaking Caribbean paradise of emerald-forested volcanoes, yawning azure skies, and pristine golden beaches perfect for relaxing in the glorious heat.
     
    As with other opals, Ethiopian opal is a birthstone for October, said to brim with joyously positive emotion whilst also invoking the calmness and restraint required to balance such ardour.
     
    Iolite, occasionally called a ‘water sapphire’, is sometimes considered a September birthstone. Used as a guide by Norse seafarers, this ‘Vikings’ Compass’ embodies a keen sense of direction.
     
    Attached to an 18-inch chain, this dazzling gemstone pendant will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of its inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented piece which makes the perfect gift.

    Incredible faceted cut sparkling 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped Paraiba Ethiopian Opal semi-precious gemstone, complemented by several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia (lab) gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a cluster setting!
     
    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia, North Wales’s untamed, mountainous heartland, where blooms of heather, the dark silhouettes of stone monoliths, the cool waters of vast, still pools, and the ever-changing colours of a capricious sky fill the landscape with soothing tones of blue and purple.
     
    A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
