    Gorgeous faceted cut 6mm x 4mm oval-shaped neon blue Apatite semi-precious gemstones, complimented by beautiful faceted cut sparkling 6mm x 4mm pear drop-shaped blue Iolite ‘Water Sapphire’ semi-precious gemstones & several 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia (lab) gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectfully!
     
    This contemporary jewellery is inspired by Lake Crafnant a natural lake in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales with its impressive deep blue waters and wonderful mountain backdrop.
     
    Apatite, an arresting gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad array of hues, is named after the Greek apate (‘deceit’) as its varied colours have fooled many into mistaking it for other minerals.
     
    Iolite, occasionally called a ‘water sapphire’, is sometimes considered a September birthstone. Used as a guide by Norse seafarers, this ‘Vikings’ Compass’ embodies a keen sense of direction.
     
    A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.

    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia, North Wales’s untamed, mountainous heartland, where monolithic peaks of jagged stone dissolve into golden yellow grassland at their feet.

    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of the unforgettable mountains of Bali, domineering kings of the skyline. Reaching into the perfect clouds above, their fertile, verdant slopes and iconic, conical silhouettes remind all below of the Indonesian island’s dramatic volcanic heritage. Indeed, many of its staggeringly impressive volcanoes are still active today.
