    Gorgeous faceted cut sparkling 7mm x 5mm oval-shaped green Topaz semi-precious gemstone, complemented by several beautiful 1mm x 1mm round-shaped Cubic Zirconia (lab) gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting & cluster setting respectfully!
     
    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Moel Morfydd, where the subdued shades of purple heather provide a gorgeous contrast to the vibrant green hills and deep blue sky.
     
    A birthstone for the month of April first developed in the USSR in the 1970s, cubic zirconia is created from base substances found in extraterrestrial rock from both asteroids and the moon.
     
    One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.
