    Magnificent rare 5mm x 4mm oval-shaped blue Kyanite rare semi-precious gemstones, complimented by wonderfully crafted 8mm x 8mm round-shaped Golden Rutile semi-precious faceted gemstones & two 1m x 1mm round-shaped yellow Sapphire precious gemstones. These gemstones are handset in sterling silver in a prong setting!
     
    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia, North Wales’s untamed, mountainous heartland, where monolithic peaks of jagged stone dissolve into golden yellow grassland at their feet.
     
    One of the birthstones for September, sapphire’s symbolism is as diverse as its hues, having been associated with youth and old age, power and kindness, and wealth alongside freedom from envy.
     
    Kyanite’s name arises from the Greek kyanos, meaning ‘deep blue’. A stunning, serene gemstone, it is said to bridge the gap between the heart and the mind.

Straddling the border between the US states of Utah and Arizona, this mesmerising reservoir snakes through stunning sedimentary cliffs, its deep blue tones – a mirror of the cloudless sky – juxtaposed against the warm pinks and oranges of the enveloping walls of rock.
