  • Apatite Sterling Silver Earrings with Rose Gold Accents

An enchanting pair of gemstone earrings showcasing a colourful neon-blue 6mm x 4mm oval of natural semi-precious apatite, elegantly hand-set in a stylish sterling silver claw setting adorned with a Celtic design and rich accents of rose gold.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Llyn Trawsfynydd, a sweeping reservoir which dwarfs even Wales’ largest natural lake, Bala. Gorgeously clear, its enchanting waters play host to a rich variety of wildlife which draws fishing enthusiasts from afar.

Apatite, an arresting gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad array of hues, is named after the Greek apate (‘deceit’) as its varied colours have fooled many into mistaking it for other minerals.

45mm long (~1¾ inches), these dazzling gemstone earrings will arrive packaged in a small gift box featuring the image of their inspiration on the inside of the lid. Combined with an organza bag, this results in a gorgeously-presented pair which makes the perfect gift.

A charming gemstone necklace featuring a stunningly sparkling 4mm x 4mm round of faceted blue topaz, delicately hand-set in a stylish sterling silver claw setting adorned with rose gold accents and a Celtic heart design.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia, North Wales’s untamed, mountainous heartland, where blooms of heather, the dark silhouettes of stone monoliths, the cool waters of vast, still pools, and the ever-changing colours of a capricious sky fill the landscape with soothing tones of blue and purple.

One of November’s birthstones, topaz is thought to be named after the Sanskrit tapas, meaning ‘fire’. Hindu literature points to its functions as a lengthener of life and provider of wisdom.

Celtic Ruby Pendant, Red Ruby Sapphire, Celtic Design, Rose Gold Accents, Precious Gemstone, Sterling Silver

Serene natural 6mm x 4mm oval-shaped Red Ruby precious gemstone. This gemstone is handset in a lovely sterling silver Celtic design with Rose Gold Accents in a bezel setting!

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Ruthin Castle, which acts today as a visual juxtaposition of two eras; at one end of the lush local parkland, enshrouded in ivy, slumps the ruined wall of a 13th-century fortress, whilst at the other stands a 19th-20th century manor house-turned-hotel. Both hold a unique appeal, but together they offer an indescribable allure, the red walls of the hotel contrasting gorgeously with the grey and green of the medieval remnants.

A birthstone for July, ruby has long represented power and success; for 8th-century Arabic mystics, dreams of rubies foretold good fortune, whilst in ancient Burma they stood for life itself.

This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Snowdonia’s staggering Lake Cowlyd. Set amongst the Carneddau range of mountains, these deep and enchanting waters are accessible only via a challenging uphill path which demands determination in those that follow it. The required effort pays off, however, revealing a decidedly dramatic, desolate landscape bare of trees and rich in rough-hewn rock.
