    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of a sunset over the Clwyd Valley, which, drenching the earth and sky in the tones of encroaching dusk, deftly illustrates the mesmeric beauty which makes North Wales the backdrop to countless pieces of poetry and folklore.

    This handmade jewellery is inspired by my photograph of Llyn Tryweryn, the source of the Tryweryn river which was infamously channelled into the Llyn Celyn reservoir in 1965, resulting in the small Welsh village of Capel Celyn being lost to the lake. Perhaps due to the sombre story behind these serene waters, the lake’s cool blues seem to convey a very solemn sort of beauty.
